The siblings Monika and Martin Bosch are running the family business together since 2006. They have a great team and their family behind them.
Our
MILESTONES
1904
Beer brewer Georg Bosch bought the Linde. Simultaneous to that he was running a agriculture and haulier business.
1929
A special postcard was printed for the 25th anniversary. The picture shows the Linde with the first truck of the Münz-Herbergsbrauerei (Münz Brewery) in the front. Until that time the beer was distributed by horse-drawn wagons.
1934
Establishment of an agricultural barn.
1938
Ernst and Frida Bosch, born Mauerer acquired the Linde.
1950
wine transportation. In this year the Linde was reopened after a renovation and building a toilet facility.
1957
The basic building grew with an upper floor.
1960
The back courtyard was connected with the agricultural barn and the entrance got relocated.
1966
The restaurant got extended. 5 more guest rooms were built.
1969
Ernst and Gertrud Barbara Bosch, born Wöger, acquired the Linde.
1973
The kitchen got extended, the toilet facilities got renovated, and 5 more guest rooms were built on the former fruit floor. The bowling alley is being built on the first floor.
1977
The barn was tore down so the hotel wing with 18 guest rooms could be built.
1980
The restaurant was renovated.
1987
Another floor was built: 6 more guest rooms. Ernst Bosch senior dies in the summer of 1987.
1991
In this summer Frida Bosch died.
1995
Another alteration: enlargement of the side room, building a gorgeous terrace and modernising as well the kitchen as the toilet facilities in the whole building.
2002
An ecofriendly heating and electricity production system as well as a hot water extraction system were built After a 10 years absence, daughter Monika Bosch came back home.
2003
Son Martin Bosch came back home after passing the tests for his apprenticeship.
2004
100 years anniversary of the Linde in Heidenheim. The traditional gastronomic business is owned by family Bosch since 100 years.
2006
The parents Ernst and Gertrud Barbara Bosch consigned the family owned business to their children Monika and Martin Bosch.
2009
The skittle alley was renovated.
2012
The terrace and beer garden were rearranged. The parking facilities were extended.
2013 & 2014
Renovation of the hotel rooms.
2017
Redesign of the adjoinig room.
2020
Renovation of the entire restaurant and the large adjoining room. Breakfast buffet, check-out area
